Access to the past.

Hi all!

Thanks for visiting my blog and for embarking with me in this journey to visit our game ancestors.

My name is Danny, I'm about to turn 23 and live in Tijuana, Mexico.

I've been a gamer since i was 5 and got my very first home console. An Atari 2600.

I vaguely remember what games I would play in it, all i know is it was a lot of fun. I then moved on to better things: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Game Boy, Super Nintendo (SNES), Nintendo 64 (N64), Playstation (PSX), Dreamcast, Playstation 2 and so on.

I can proudly say I still own most of my original consoles (not the Atari of course). My oldest system is the N64 which is around 12 years old!

For the past few years, I've drifted of a little bit from gaming, having been playing Next Gen consoles as more of a casual player. My range became very limited when it came to the kind of games I enjoy. Most of them being Rhythm based games like Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania IIDX and such.

But lately, I've been struck with a huge nostalgia for older games, video channels like Rinrygamegame on YouTube only sparked that feeling even more. I wouldn't go as far as the Atari, but definitely the NES, GB, SNES and N64. Although I have means to play Game Boy and N64 games, I don't own that many.

So I decided to embark on this journey to go back in time to the 8-bit era (and beyond) and play games I never got a chance to play when they were originally released, or revisit some of my favorites from the past, and document my experience with each on this blog.

I will randomly play a game from each console and post a mini review/experiences on here as part of a gaming journal!

So let's begin!
